DJ 47 was born in Queens, New York. Now residing in Miami. He is a DJ, Music Producer, owner of ONE Records, KDPG Radio and HRH Marketing. 

At an early age DJ 47 was a song writer/rapper and performed at local talent shows and open mic events. At the age of 14 he picked up DJing and started working with a reggae sound by the name of Echo Chambers. They performed at locations on South Beach such as Cream, Mansion, Amnesia and other locations like Bayside Hut, Mad House and Spirit Lounge in the Miami area. 

DJ 47’s success provided increased demand as a DJ and a promoter. This lead him to throw his own events such as GIFT, A Sexy Night Out, car shows, and many more. In 2001, he went out on tour with Mr. Cheeks and the Lost Boyz. Throughout the tour he met members of the Marley Family. From there he started working in the marketing department for the annual festival called The 9-mile Music Festival. This also lead to other events such as Best of the Best, Willy Chin's Birthday Bash, Lit Up, and CHILL. 

In January of 2018 business really began to soar as DJ 47 started his online radio station: KDPG Radio. The station has grown to over 10,000 listeners throughout the U.S and the Caribbean islands. This lead to more DJ opportunities. In March, with his years of experience and connections, DJ 47 decided to open an artist development company. He is currently working with 8 talented artists. Each artist utilizing different genres of music including hip hop, reggae, dance, R&B, and more. 

Today DJ 47 is the main DJ for The Women Run Wynwood event on the 1st Sunday of every month, Willy Chin Birthday Bash in Dec, 9 Mile Music Festival in March & every Friday & Saturday nights at Empire. Dj 47 is producing and working on his compilation album called DJ 47 presents - Blinders. Furthermore, he continues to keep working with other up and coming talent.
